About the Sales Tax Clearinghouse

Facilitating the calculation and remittance of sales and use taxes

STC is the only sensible way for businesses to collect and remit sales and use taxes for the nation's 7,000 taxing authorities at the state, county, and city levels.

We provide merchants with:

• a software module to compute taxes on purchases that integrates easily into their existing business system, and
• a complete range of compliance services, from licensing to filing and remitting, all done by STC on behalf of the merchant.

STC was founded in August 1999 by Clifford A. Farmer and Gregory M. McCauley, Esq.
